Messenger Channel Setup

Connect your Facebook Page to manage Messenger conversations from the Helpium inbox.

Prerequisites

  • A Facebook Page for your business
  • Admin access to the Facebook Page

Connecting Messenger

  1. Go to Settings → Channels → Messenger
  2. Click Connect Messenger
  3. You'll be redirected to Facebook to authorize Helpium
  4. Grant the required permissions

Selecting Your Page

After authorization, select the Facebook Page you want to connect:

  1. Choose your business Page from the list
  2. Click Confirm to complete the setup

Helpium subscribes to message events for the selected page.

Receiving Messages

Incoming Messenger conversations appear in your inbox with the Messenger channel indicator. Reply directly and your response is sent via Messenger.

AI-Enabled Responses

Toggle AI Enabled to let the chatbot automatically respond to Messenger conversations using your knowledge base.

Disconnecting Messenger

Go to Settings → Channels → Messenger and click Disconnect to remove the integration.
