Navigating the Dashboard

Dashboard Overview
The Helpium dashboard is your command center for managing customer support. Here's a tour of every section.
Sidebar Navigation
The left sidebar provides quick access to all major areas:
- Inbox: Your conversation queue, filtered by status and assignment
- Customers: Customer directory with profiles and activity timelines
- Articles: Knowledge base article management
- Categories: Organize articles into hierarchical categories
- Analytics: Performance metrics and conversation trends
- Leaderboard: Agent performance rankings
- Settings: Workspace configuration (owners see all settings; agents see profile and notifications only)
Global Search
Click the search bar at the top (or use the keyboard shortcut) to search across:
- Conversations: Find conversations by subject or content
- Customers: Search by name or email
- Articles: Search by title or content
Results are grouped by type, with up to 5 results per category.
Notifications
The bell icon in the top-right shows your unread notification count. Click it to see recent notifications and mark them as read individually or all at once.
Profile Menu
Click your avatar in the top-right to access:
- Profile Settings: Update your name, email, password, and avatar
- Notification Preferences: Configure which notifications you receive
- Sign Out: Log out of your account
