Getting Started with Helpium in 5 Minutes
Welcome to Helpium!
Helpium is a customer support platform with AI-powered self-service and live chat. This guide will help you get started in just 5 minutes.
Step 1: Complete the Onboarding Wizard
After signing up, you'll be guided through an onboarding wizard with three steps:
- Workspace Setup: Set your workspace name and upload a logo
- Knowledge Base: Create your first help articles so the AI chatbot can assist customers
- Widget Installation: Copy the embed code and paste it into your website
The wizard tracks your progress automatically. You can skip steps and return to them later from Settings.
Step 2: Invite Your Team
Go to Settings → Team and invite support agents by email. They'll receive an invitation link to join your workspace.
Step 3: Install the Chat Widget
Copy the widget embed code from Settings → Channels → Widget and add it to your website. Customers can immediately start chatting with your team and searching your knowledge base.
Step 4: Build Your Knowledge Base
Create categories and articles under Knowledge Base → Articles. A strong knowledge base powers the AI chatbot and reduces the number of conversations that require a human agent.
