How the Global Search Works

Global Search
The global search bar at the top of the dashboard lets you quickly find anything across your workspace.
What You Can Search
The search returns results grouped by type:
- Conversations: Matches by conversation subject or message content
- Customers: Matches by customer name or email
- Articles: Matches by article title or content
Each category shows up to 5 results for a quick overview.
How to Search
- Click the search bar at the top of the dashboard (or use the keyboard shortcut)
- Type your search query
- Results appear instantly, grouped by type
- Click any result to navigate directly to it
Search Behavior
- Search is case-insensitive
- Partial matches are supported
- Results are ranked by relevance
- The search covers all data within your workspace (multi-tenant isolation ensures you only see your own data)
Tips for Effective Searching
- Search by email to find a specific customer and all their conversations
- Search by keywords to find conversations about specific topics
- Search by article title to quickly navigate to a knowledge base article
